  6. Last minute shopping
  7. Holiday travel (especially at peak periods)
  8. Going on a diet January 1st
  9. Gaining weight

  1. I’ve found a good habit is to start planning and buying presents 3 months out as that allows for easier budgetting for holiday shopping.
